Workshop on “wealth out of waste” was organized on 26th Sep 2012.The inbuilt talents of the students fraternity were brought in the form of wealth products from textile and non- textile waste materials. The best 3 products were awarded.
 

TEXFETE’13

Department of Textile Technology of Pavendar Bharathidasan College of Engineering and Technology,Mathur ,Trichy organised Texfete’13 -a national level Technical Symposium on 13th March,2013 at the college premises.

Mrs.M.R.Sudharani,B.E,Technical Officer, Office of Textile commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Erode was the chief guest for the inaugural program.

Dr.M.R.Arun,M.B.B.S,Managing Trustee,S.E&H.T presided over the program.

Mrs.Uma Arun,Academicc Director,Pavendar Bharathidasan institutions gave the presidential address. Her speech highlighted the scope of Textile Technology and the latest trends in Textile Industry. She gave away the offer letters to fifteen of our Textile Technology students those who got placed through campus interviews in M/s.Royal Classic Polo Ltd,M/s.SCM Creations (p) Ltd and M/s Cotton Bloosom (p)Ltd.

Mr.R.Kirubakaran,Manager-Chennai Silks,Ernnakulam was invited as a special guest for the Fashion show event.
